History:

• 1988 - Inauguration of the HMSR
• 1990 - Opening of the HSR for external surgeons and anesthetists
• 1997 - Inauguration of CC ambulatory, for surgeries without internment, carried through in the security of a hospital environment
• 2002 - Determination of the focus in elective surgeries and short permanence
• 2004 - Opening of beds for intensive monitoring and specialized medical duty 24 hours
• 2005 - Acquisition of last generation's equipment and implantation of the Fast Sterilization system
• 2006 - Beginning of 2^a Phase of the magnifying of the Hospital São Rafael
